About Me
Suzie Collins
I am a clinically endorsed psychologist using a curious and compassionate approach to work with people who experience disharmony in their lives.

I draw upon a range of evidence based therapeutic models and specifically Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR, EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner), Internal Family Systems (IFS, IFSI Level 2 trained), Gottman Method for Couples (Level 3 trained), and TheraPlay (Foundational Practitioner, Level 1 & MIM trained). These modalities support a trauma informed and non-pathologising approach to therapy, with the aim of creating harmony for individuals both internally for them and externally with the people around them.

In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive reports across a range of assessment services including cognitive, achievement, attention, memory, social, behavioural, personality and capacity areas. This service includes consideration of diagnostic criteria for specific disorders including Intellectual Disability, Neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, OCD etc) and Specific Learning Disorders.

I am an Approved Supervisor (including Clinical Registrar program) with the Psychology Board of Australia. I currently supervise students in their placements within the University of Queensland (UQ) Psychology Clinic and am available for private external supervision. I work with provisional psychologists to develop their skills across all required competencies to achieve registration.
